Spirit of AESAN

Thank you to everyone — especially the Wat samret dance team and the people of Maret — for helping create such a warm and memorable evening at the “Spirit of ASEAN” exhibition by Professor Maneerat Srikhampha, featuring paintings inspired by batik textiles, held at Samui Art Center on 15 November 2025.

This exhibition explores the feminine identity within the multicultural fabric of Southern Thailand and its ASEAN neighbours. Through lace, batik, and floral motifs, Maneerat Srikampa paints women who preserve their heritage with quiet strength and dignity.
