Maxim Dondyuk: Russian Invasion of Ukraine and Ukraine Moments – Opening Event
We are thrilled to present the Opening event of Maxim Dondyuk: Russian Invasion of Ukraine and Ukraine Moments exhibition. Everyone who visited the House of Lucie Budapest had a chance to take a look at Maxim Dondyuk’s striking collection of photos about the Russian invasion of Ukraine as well as a selection of the winning images from the Ukraine Moments campaign.
The exhibition began with a fantastic opening event on the 29th of June, 2022, in the House of Lucie Budapest Gallery. Maxim’s work attracted an excited international audience. We had a full house, and the guest of honor, Ukrainian Ambassador H. E. Ms. Liubov Nepop gave a moving speech during the event.
This exhibition sheds light on the tragic reality of this invasion and its impact on both the Ukrainian people and the rest of the world, showing us again how crucial and powerful photography can be, and how important it is as a medium of communication.
