It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2024 Px3 Winners and ‘State of the World’ exhibition curated by Hossein Farmani in the heart of Ostuni. The exhibit will showcase the works of the 2024 Paris Photo Prize 1st and 2nd Place category winners and 30 works from State of the World special contest.

Analog sparks Best of Show Opening Event

The Analog Sparks Awards return to the House of Lucie Ostuni, Best of Show with the 2024 edition.

The Opening Event will take place in House of Lucie Ostuni, on March 6th from 19:00 to 21:00.⁣⁣

The exhibition will be open during the period March 6 – 22 at the following times:
Wednesday – Saturday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

21st IPA Winners Exhibition

Thankful for the extraordinary evening of the photo vernissage of the 21st IPA (International Photography Awards) at the House of Lucie Ostuni Gallery.

From January 22nd to February 5th the gallery will be closed but outside this period the exhibition will be open until February 23rd at the following times:
Wednesday – Saturday 6pm – 9pm
Sunday 10am -1pm

Charity Evening for Save the Children: Gaza Emergency

On Friday, October 11, the House of Lucie Ostuni hosted a poignant event organized by Rula Al Amad and Paola Pinto, aimed at raising awareness of the Palestinian people’s struggles.

The evening featured the powerful exhibition “10 DAYS IN GAZA,” showcasing the impactful work of photographers Anthony Dawton and Jim McFarlane. Attendees were deeply moved by the heartfelt testimony of Susanna Bernoldi, a dedicated volunteer who has spent years working in the occupied territories to alleviate suffering.

LINES – Exhibition of Generative Art

Edoardo Olivetto and Claudia Boca unveil a visual installation exploring human-algorithm interaction, centered on themes of peace and coexistence.

LINES: The connections that unite humanity, when neglected, can lead to conflict and destruction.

This exhibition is part of SOPRA LA TERRA ROSSA, a series highlighting local creativity. Following Katharina Schnitzler and Claudio Palma, it’s now Edoardo and Claudia’s turn.

Edoardo and Claudia was on hand for a discussion with Gianmichele Pavone and Luigi Casale.

10 DAYS IN GAZA

The current exhibition at the House of Lucie, Ostuni, 10 DAYS IN GAZA, features the compelling work of renowned photographers Anthony Dawton and Jim McFarlane. This powerful showcase, with photos taken in 2019 for the Save the Children Foundation, offers a poignant look into the lives of Palestinian families and children amidst ongoing conflict.

The first temporary exhibition of the ABOVE THE RED EARTH festival thrilled the audience at the House of Lucie Ostuni last night. Whether it was the theme or the extraordinary artists Katharina Schniltzler and Claudio Palma, the evening was truly engaging. Special thanks to Gianmichele Pavone, Luigi Casale, Paola Cirasino, and Domenico Greco for their contributions. We hope the Red Earth continues to inspire creativity. COME UN RAMO FIORITO DI UN MANDORLO

At the House of Lucie Ostuni on Thursday, May 30th, at 6:30 p.m., visitors gathered for the presentation of the book “COME UN RAMO FIORITO DI UN MANDORLO,” organized by the Ostuni Book Presidium. Author Tommaso Galiani discussed the book with Teresa Orlando. Set in a small southern town, the book tells the story of two friends with differing lives and experiences that inevitably lead them to change.

Daniele Mencarelli’s Poetic Comeback: A Night to Remember

On Thursday, May 16th, at 6:30 p.m., the House of Lucie on Corso Garibaldi No. 164 in Ostuni hosted an event by the Ostuni Book Presidium, where Mencarelli discussed his work with Maila Cavaliere.

“Study for a Sculpture” Exhibition at House of Lucie Ostuni

On March 26, 2024, the series of exhibitions at the House of Lucie Ostuni continued with the feature of Study for a Sculpture, a captivating photographic project by Francesco Brigida. Brigida’s work explored body language and engaged in a dialogue with movement. His series served as a preparatory study for Hermann Mejer’s two sculptures, which were exhibited alongside Brigida’s 20 photos.

“Through Our Eyes” Photo Exhibition at House of Lucie Ostuni

On March 15, 2024, we welcomed guests to the House of Lucie Ostuni for the Through Our Eyes photo exhibition, held in collaboration with “The House of Talents” and the “Rainbow Center” of Ostuni, in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day. This event showcased captivating photographs taken by talented young individuals from these centers, offering a glimpse into their unique perspectives.

This event focused on connecting through our shared love of photography, without the constraints of competition or technicalities. We were excited to get to know each other better in this unique way. ⁠

A Fresh Perspective on Alessandro Manzoni: An Evening at House of Lucie Ostuni

On February 16, our audience was captivated by a discussion on literature that unveiled a new side of the renowned Italian poet, novelist, and philosopher, Alessandro Manzoni. Eleonora Mazzoni, author of Il Cuore e’ un guazzabuglio, shared a passionate and intriguing perspective on Manzoni, transforming the perception of him from dull and closed-minded to vibrant and rebellious.

INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS – BEST OF SHOW 2023 EXHIBITION AT HOUSE OF LUCIE, OSTUNI

The International Photography Awards presented “Best of Show 2023”, featuring the category winners along with a special selection by guest curator Susan Baraz.
